Welcome to Early Childhood family education (ECFE) - Where Families Learn and Grow Together!
Looking for a fun and supportive place to connect with your little one—and with other parents, too? ECFE is just the spot! Our age specific classes are designed for families with children from birth to kindergarten, offering a welcoming environment where learning, laughter, and connection happen every day.
Each ECFE session includes:
- Playful learning time with your child
- Parent discussion where children explore with licensed educators
- Hands-on activities designed for each developmental stage
- Bright, welcoming classrooms with toys, music, art & a cozy infant space
- Opportunities to meet and connect with other parents and caregivers
- Caring, licensed teachers passionate about child development
- Optional on-site childcare for children or siblings of Handke Center program participants through EdVenture Club Childcare
- Conveniently located at our Early Childhood learning sites in Elk River, Rogers, Otsego & Zimmerman
Parent Educators are here for you!
Parent Educators are licensed professionals who support you as a parent. In each ECFE class, they lead engaging discussions on parenting topics, offer helpful tips on child development, and connect you with local resources. Think of them as your parenting coach—ready to answer questions, share ideas, and celebrate your wins. They partner with early childhood teachers to make sure both you and your child feel supported and encouraged.
