EdVenture Club-Discovery Learning Preschool Childcare

Community Education offers childcare services to extend your child’s experience with their Discovery Learning Preschool classes at the Handke Center, Otsego, Prairie View, Rogers and Zimmerman Elementary sites.

Childcare is available before and/or after preschool classes. For the 2024-25 school year, child must be age 3 by Sep 1, 2024 to participate in EdVenture Club-Discovery Learning Childcare.

When registering, you pick the hours that best meet your schedule. The program is available Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm on school days, non-class days and non-school days.

With over 28 years of successful extended day childcare experience, we provide a quality program that complements the Discovery Learning program curriculum. Students will be escorted between our childcare program and the Discovery Learning classroom by our high-quality staff. Snacks will be provided in the morning and afternoon. Students will need to bring a lunch each day they attend.

REQUIREMENTS:
Age - Child must be 3 by Sept 1, 2024

Eligibility - To be eligible to attend this program, your child MUST be enrolled in the Discovery Learning Preschool program for the 2024-2025 or attending a Discovery Learning Preschool class through the Early Childhood Special Education program.

Your child must be fully toilet-trained in order to be eligible to attend EdVenture Club-Discovery Learning. We are unable to physically change diapers due to student contact policies. 

PLEASE NOTE: All EdVenture Club-Discovery Learning Wrap-around childcare sites may have a designated maximum registration. Once that maximum registration number is reached, registration will be closed to new families; families interested in registering will be added to a waiting list in the order of receipt and will be contacted as space becomes available.
